Thoughts on Day 16/HoH, POV & Eviction #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, &10 (3/12/2022)

Okay sooooo this is going to be a pretty lengthy update since I haven't written anything for like the past 5 evictions, but I think my opinions on things were made fairly obvious from my little comments here and there. Anyway, I left off after Week 4 when queen Mulan was evicted. (rest in peace, I miss you)

Week 5 when Stephanie won her next HoH, which I didn't think was really a great move on her part. Winning so frequently in the prejury phase of the game is asking for trouble. Steph nominated Mike (which I was happy about because week 4 was DISGUSTING) and Jake. I was totally fine with these noms tbh. I feel like Jake continues to be used as a pawn and isn't very close to many in this game and that's why they are seen as an initial nominee so often. But, I think it was crucial for him to win veto here and save himself because I'm not sure if he would have stayed if he didnt. I was mad at Stephanie for making Heihei the renom, the reason seemed pretty lame and kind of just made it seem like people had manipulated her into believing that was the right move. I'm not sure if it was just an excuse to throw him up there or what, but I didn't think it was a good look. Also, that last message they sent in the veto ceremony #5 made me cringe. I was happy to see my chicken stay in a close 7-5 vote. I don't hate Mike and if they got to stay longer, I'm sure they would have been able to add a bit of pizzazz, but I wanted to see them go over Heihei and the immediate karma for getting out Mulan was kind of sweet

Week 6 was the secret HoH week, which I am not at all too shocked to find out was Brandy. She had been pretty quiet to me so far and was one of the people that I didn't know really where their head was at, but I wouldn't be surprised at them being against the Stephanie/Elliot side of things. I was definitely shocked to see that the nominations during a SECRET HOH were Jake and Baby Plankton...like really?? So many people had been nominating Jake and Baby Plankton just seemed like a weak move to make when you're ANONYMOUS!! No offense to Baby Plankton, I just think the activity and threat level was not there for them to be someone to take out in a secret HoH. Someone won the veto and Jake was saved once again (kid has 500 lives I swear) and the backdoor was Elliot and I was like OOP!! NOW WE TALKIN! I was like YES, use this opportunity to get out Elliot, Stephanie, or Justin...because I think they are the power players in the game. The issue is that Elliot was not up next to one of those other two and instead these IDIOTS voted out Baby Plankton over an obvious power player....I'm still baffled by this to this day like, what were yall thinkin?? In an anon week with an anon hoh, anon veto winner, and anon vote count...yall got rid of Baby Plankton.....over Elliot... IDC YALL FOOLS FOR THIS!! Absolute fools...

Week 7 we have another UGLY ASS WEEK WHEN UGLY ASS STEPHANIE WINS ANOTHER GD HOH....LIKE WHY?!?? It's all totally unnecessary to be winning every other HoH like that. She nominated Heihei AGAIN but instead of with Jake, they nominated him with Peter... I found that super interesting that they continued targeting Heihei but not Jake.... why?? She just put him up like the week prior? Anyway... she decides to win veto along with her HoH, which is just hitting home the point that she's the biggest comp problem in the game and if any wants to win, they need to get her so they can win comps instead of her. Anyway, this was super disheartening, no offense to Peter but I really did not want Heihei to go. I miss date lil chicken... "Get stephanie’s stupid ass out of here. Week 8 reaallllyy heated up!! I was happy to see icon Megara win HoH! I kind of felt meh about her nominees being Liberty and Zuko, I def felt like a bigger move could have been made, but I see why this was the right move for her. Hell, I just now realized that Liberty won HoH TONIGHT and didn't even retaliate. I know things change over time to make it so that it can make complete sense that someone who nominated you previously isn't necessarily the best person to go after when you win (s/o Ember McClain), but I think that just shows how this was the right move for Megara during this week to expose the sides/situation of the house. ANYWAY, the Hades twist was so spicy, especially with Zuko using it to put up Elliot. Unfortunately, Elliot won veto... I was just curious to see what that would have looked like if they were all up there on the block. I didn't have much of an opinion on Zuko before this week but he just fuckin ate dude. I liked Elliot during this argument too. It was an entertaining one to witness and I was sad to see him leave...he put up a hell of a fight too and I was glad at least to see such a close vote.

Week 9 ... Elliot winning HoH and Veto..... yea yea we kinda bored of that side steam rolling. I was not the biggest Brandy fan, but I did like the clear opposition to the power dynamics of the house. I really wish she had used her secret HoH in a way that could have later prevented this result. And again, no offense to Peter, but I don't really know what they are giving in this game? Like I def would have liked to see him go over her, however I could see Brandy being a bigger threat for the end and therefore being more tempting to vote out. The tie vote was a shock and interesting to me and I was glad to see it, but we weren't shocked to see what Elliot decided to do. I don't dislike Elliot, but I want to see them have a harder time and really have to keep fighting to get to the end because I don't want it to just be a walk in the park.

Week 10 .... yall this week is so good for so many reasons. First of all, a Liberty HoH is so unexpected to me. I mean, she had been nominated a couple of times, never won anything... and decided to nominate Justin & Jake which had me so intrigued. She didn't nominate Megara even though she just nominated her two weeks prior...and I'm so curious to find out the reason why and what has happened behind the scenes. I'm guessing what happened when Zuko left is that it split the cast in two and left Megara & Liberty on the same side rather than as enemies. Regardless, I am here for it!! I was excited to see Lexi win the veto!! She is really impressing me and I'm just a stan. Her taking off Jake and the renom being Stephanie... oh I know this was a plan... this fucking ate, yall. Just overall such a stellar HoH from Liberty. Hopefully the Stephanie backdoor works but even if it doesn't, Justin is not a bad person to get out either considering the fact that he is also someone I considered a huge contender to win. I love to see these bitches came to play
