Houseguests, it is now time to cast your first vote for eviction.


In Big Brother Quarantine, you are given a 1 hour vote freeze to avoid hasty voting. This means that the voting will open in 1 hour of this post. You cannot vote before.

Well it's more a "let me help you" than an announcement. I just noticed that the vote was a bit messy last night in terms of the voting window. I know that every host does it their own way & BBQ is a little special so let me explain again & give context. Season 1 I opened up the first vote right away after the POV ceremony & everyone rushed to vote an inactive player out. She ended up logging on and making a compelling case, but since no one could change their vote, she left & we probably missed out on a fun character just because she got busy when everyone was moving in. From that point on I have been posting the eviction thread & giving a one hour freeze period on the vote. That means you can't vote during that first hour. I will be lenient this time and not penalize anyone, I usually am with the first round, especially with so many new players, but please be advised that moving forward, if you vote during that freeze period, the vote will not count. Same goes for the 3 who did not vote. I won't penalize you since I don't know if you just got confused on how to vote or when to vote by, but moving forward it's a strike against you & you wouldn't be able to play in the next HOH challenge.
