With the passing of Mufasa, the kingdom is now in complete chaos. They need a new ruler, and fast. All of you will be tested on how well you can think strategically and outmaneuver your enemies to see if you are the rightful heir to the throne.

Tonight you will be squaring off against one another in a game of wit. Each of you will have the following playing pieces, along with their respective rank:

1. Simba
2. Nala
3. Rafiki
4. Sarabi
5. Pumbaa
6. Timon
7. Sarafina
8. Zazu
9. Shenzi
10. Banzai
11. Ed

Please note that the lower the number, the higher they rank. So in this case, Simba (#1) will be the highest ranking piece you may play, while Ed (#11) will be the lowest ranking piece you may play.

Whenever I post "Hakuna Matata", each of you will have two minutes to post in your Diary Room the number (or name) of the pieces you wish to play. So again, the lower the number, the higher the rank. The player with the highest rank will win that round and score a point.

Here is how ties will work:

If two or more people use a piece of a similar rank that rank the highest, then we will get into a tiebreaker round. EVERY player will play a NEW piece that they have. However, only the people who had tied originally will be the only ones able to score a point.

Once you play a piece, it will be considered out of play, which means you cannot use it in any future rounds. You will have two minutes to post in your Diary Room the piece you would like to use. If you do not submit a piece, you will be disqualified from the competition automatically. This includes TIES so make sure you submit on time still.

However, if any player uses the Scar piece, then whoever would have normally scored will instead LOSE a point. In the event of a tie for first, instead of going to a tiebreaker, everyone who scored the highest will lose the point.

The houseguest with the most points after SEVEN rounds will win the Golden Power of Veto! If there is a tie for first, then we will go to a sudden death round for only those tied for first. In the event that we run out of pieces before seven rounds, we will allow everyone to restart and have access to all twelve pieces and continue from there.

Rules

- You must post your piece in your Diary Room within two minutes
- You may only submit once per round, i.e. if you submit once you may not change your answer
- The player with the highest rank will score for the round
- The player with the highest score at the end of seven rounds will win the Power of Veto; in the event of a tie we will resort to a sudden death round

Scenario #1

Pedro plays 4, Justin plays 7, Ember plays 20.

Pedro has the lowest number (highest rank), so he scores a point.

Scenario #2

Pedro plays 4, Justin plays 4, Ember plays 20.

Pedro and Justin have the lowest number (highest rank), so we go to a tiebreaker round.

Pedro plays 2, Justin plays 3, Ember plays 1.

Pedro has the lowest number between him and Justin, so he scores a point.

Scenario #3

Pedro plays 4, Justin plays X, Ember plays 20.

Pedro has the lowest number (highest rank), so he would have scored, but since Justin played X, he LOSES a point instead.

Scenario #4

Pedro plays 4, Justin plays X, Ember plays X.

Pedro has the lowest number (highest rank), so he would have scored, but since Justin and Ember played X, he LOSES a point instead.

Scenario #5

Pedro plays 4, Justin plays 4, Ember plays X.

Pedro and Justin have the lowest number (highest rank), so we would go to a tiebreaker round, but since Ember played an X, Pedro and Justin both LOSE a point instead.
